El Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Málaga precisa contratar una persona con el siguiente perfil: TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH FELLOW

• Lugar de Realización: IBIMA / Grupo CRIS de investigación en Cáncer de Próstata

Funciones a Desarrollar

• To design and supervise in collaboration with the group leader and senior researchers in the group translational research projects in the area of Prostate Cancer.
• To design and perform bench experiment within the lab projects
• To act as reference contact for clinical researchers within PROCURE Biomaker studies platform and the IBIMA and CNIO teams
• To support experimental work of PhD students, MSc students and junior technicians within the projects of the units at IBIMA and CNIO
• To analyze results, write reports and articles, critically discuss ours and other results, and present at IBIMA and CNIO

Requisitos Mínimos

• Minimun required titulation: 1. Bachelor in Medicine. 2. PhD in basic or translational research in cancer (candidates who are in the process to submit his PhD for final dissertation within the first semester of 2017 are also eligible) 3. Certificate of Specialty Medical Training in an area related to Prostate Cancer (i.e. Medical Oncology, Urology or Radiotherapy Oncology)
• Minimun probed experience: 1-Post-Specialty training experience from 1.5 to 2.5 years maximun (less or more experience will not be considered for the job offer, as the candidate will be out the profile scope for this position). 2-Lab experiments in the areas of biology and molecular pathology in accredited labs for at least 6 months (such accreditation should be supported by a reference letter)
• Probed Knowledge in: 1-Specific experience and knowledge in Prostate cancer medical management and molecular biology and pathology are essential 2-Biology and molecular pathology techniques including PCR, RT-PCR, IHC, IF, FISH. 3-Fluent speaking and writing in English
• Previous valuable experience: 1-Experience with Prostate Cancer management and clinical trials 2-Prior work in the area of Prostate Cancer Biomakers and/or Circulating Tumour Cells
• It would be valued 1. Track of early career achievements: awards, fellowships, etc.
